For Tent Camping on Thunder Island:  Camping spaces on Thunder Island is first come, first served and is cash only.  (We did away with online registration to avoid passing card fees on to our attendees!)  Camping is $20 per person, per night / $40 per person for Friday & Saturday nights.  Everyone gets a wristband that gives them access to the camping area based on the night(s) they pay for.  Ages under 18 camp for free and must be accompanied by a guardian over 18.  Camping check-in will be managed at the footbridge to Thunder Island on Friday, August 15th from 8am to 12pm and will move to the Info Booth from 12pm to 9pm and will be open from 8am to 9pm on Saturday, August 16th.  No one will be able to check in to camp after 9pm, which is monitored by security.   Camping ends on Sunday, August 17th at 10am, when everyone must be off of Thunder Island.  

For everyone who is camping that needs to park a vehicle, there is free overnight parking in the school field lot on WaNaPa Street across from the entrance to the Marine Park.  After parking, everyone will need to carry camping gear, etc. into the Marine Park / Thunder Island.  No car camping is allowed in this lot, which is staffed 24 hours each day by staff and security.  

* 2025 PCT Thru-Hikers will be able to camp on Thunder Island starting on Thursday, August 14th for $10 each hiker.  ($20 per night after Thursday.)  Sponsor staff will be checking in people in beginning at 4pm and ending at 9pm at the footbridge to Thunder Island.  No one will be able to check in to camp after 9pm, which is monitored by security.  Please do not arrive to Cascade Locks on Wednesday for PCT DAYS since the Port of Cascade Locks camping area for thru-hikers will not have enough space for everyone…share the word with everyone!

For Car Camping or if you have an RV, etc.:  No car camping is allowed in the parking lots.  There are 15 spots in the Port of Cascade Locks Campground, which is located in the Marine Park (and a short walk to the festival location.)  To make a reservation, email Lauryl at campground@portofcascadelocks.org or call 509.637.6911.  Additional places to camp nearby in your RV or car can be found here:  https://cascadelocks.com/.  Accommodations fill up fast, so it is recommended to book ASAP!

Camping  Information & Rules:

1. Alcohol is not permitted on Thunder Island, this will be enforced by event staff and security 24 hours per day of the event.

2. To minimize waste and the risk of injuries, there is a no glass policy at PCT DAYS.  If you show up with glass, you will not be permitted to enter the event and camping area.

3. No dogs other than registered service animals are allowed at PCT DAYS.  Please leave them at home and do not leave any animal in a parked car!

4.  No campfires are allowed.  No grills, but small hiking / camping stoves are ok and you may bring coolers, food, non-alcoholic beverages, etc.  Avoid glass bottles of any kind.  No use of drones is allowed on Thunder Island or at PCT DAYS without prior approval by the Port of Cascade Locks and the event director.  

5.  Please don’t relieve yourself on Thunder Island!  The bathrooms and portable toilets are a short walk away from Thunder Island and located throughout the Marine Park, which are serviced daily.

6.  Quiet hours in the Marine Park are 10 pm – 8am, which will be enforced by event staff and security.  Have fun, but be cool to others!

7.  24 hr. event security staff will be at PCT DAYS to ensure to the safety of attendees and to keep watch over the area overnight.  Security staff will be onsite and local police will be making the rounds as usual at any festival.  If necessary, security staff will be prepared to contact local authorities in the case of an incident or medical emergency.  Please keep valuables such as wallets, cell phones, etc. on hand at all times during the event.

8.  Anyone under 18 years old may camp for free, but must be accompanied by a legal guardian.
